CH Industry

Challenge:

CH Industry, a Swedish door manufacturing company located in Eskilstuna, began as a small-scale operation requiring a multifunctional solution. The task was to pick up horizontally lying door sides, rotate them 180° for drilling and punching holes, attach hinges and frames, and finally place the steel door in a 90° vertical position. Previously, this was a manual process carried out by 2-3 workers handling and moving the doors.

Solution:

We introduced, marketed, and implemented a solution comprising a steel structure and the Mechrail lightweight rail system, along with the Mechstack Pro featuring an integrated Vacuum Gripper and an electrically powered 180° rotation. The rail system, affixed to the steel structure, spanned the entire work area, enabling a single operator to safely and ergonomically complete all necessary tasks at the workstation.
