Pronomic acquires French manufacturer Ingenitec as it continues its growth strategy in the European materials handling market.
Ingenitec’s experience and reputation in the French market is the perfect fit for Pronomic as it looks to make its full portfolio available throughout Europe and beyond. The acquisition and implementation of Ingenitec is handled by Pronomic SAS, Pronomic’s French sales company, under the management of Pierre Ellow.
Pronomic (www.pronomic.com), the leading provider of safe and sustainable industrial lifting solutions, today announced it has completed the acquisition of French manufacturer and integrator of materials handling services, Ingenitec (www.ingenitec.com).
The move strengthens Pronomic’s position across Europe by boosting its presence in France, one of the most well-developed markets in the materials handling industry. Ingenitec has been a trusted partner of Pronomic for several years, and the acquisition provides French customers with a highly skilled and knowledgeable team that will ensure Pronomic’s offering is available and fully supported throughout the country.
“It is extremely exciting to be able to formally welcome our colleagues at Ingenitec into the Pronomic team. We see this as a perfect match that will help us operate seamlessly in the French market and provide new opportunities for growth,” said Joakim Stannow, Managing Director of Pronomic AB.
Ingenitec’s 40-strong workforce is already actively working with Pronomic’s portfolio of products, so they are well-placed to provide in-person support and maintenance. They also bring new perspectives, local knowledge and expertise that perfectly complement Pronomic’s existing team in France, while the synergies between the two companies are evident in a shared commitment to sustainable solutions and safe working practices.
“Pronomic manufactures high-quality equipment and has been a valued partner to Ingenitec for many years. Our relationship has always been characterised by mutual trust and with this firm base we can see great possibilities to develop together with the aim of becoming the leading player within lifting and materials handling in France,” said Jean-Charles Doublet, Managing Director of Ingenitec.
Ingenitec is located in Montbrison, 100 km west of Lyon in France. The company was founded in 2003 and is today a well-established manufacturer and integrator of lifting equipment and materials handling solutions. Ingenitec’s customers are found across a broad spectrum of industry segments including manufacturing, logistics and transport, as well as manufacturers within chemicals, pharmaceuticals and food.
Pronomic’s growth strategy involves clearly positioning the company as one of the leading global suppliers of material handling and lifting solutions, extending its reach from its Headquarters in Sweden to provide local expertise, maintenance and support for its customers wherever they are based.
Pronomic is a subsidiary of Amplex AB (www.amplexab.se), a privately-owned Swedish corporate group that acquires, owns and develops technology companies in selected niches.
“The acquisition of Ingenitec significantly strengthens the existing operations of Amplex and Pronomic in lifting and materials handling. We will be bigger in the French market, strengthen our local presence, and acquire improved skills and greater capacity to offer our French customers specially designed and value-creating solutions,” says Henrik Johansson, Head of the Industrial business area within the Amplex group.
