Group Leader for Design – Customized Projects at Pronomic, Sollentuna, Sweden

About the Position

As a Group Leader, you will work closely with both colleagues and external partners to develop and customize lifting tools and trolleys. The goal is to help our clients in the manufacturing industry increase efficiency and reduce the risk of work-related injuries. In this role, you will be a central part of the team responsible for managing and delivering customized solutions based on Pronomic's existing product range.

A product development team handles standard products, while this department focuses on adaptations based on specific customer needs. The role involves both taking responsibility for projects and leading a team of four designers. You will supervise and coach them in their daily work to ensure quality and innovation in our custom solutions.

Your Main Responsibilities:

• Technical consulting.
• Design and responsibility for solutions, including CE marking and risk analysis.
• Preparing quotations.
• Capturing ideas and developing customized solutions.
• Customer order registration and management.
• Order preparation for production.
• Group/partner and joint visits to their end customers.
• Supervising and follow-up.
• Personnel responsibility for four designers.
• Work with ISO standards, to a limited extent.

The role involves close collaboration with production as well as Pronomic's partners and salespeople, with whom we often have long-standing working relationships. End customers are primarily in manufacturing, but also in other industries.

You report to the Sales Manager, and the office is located in Sollentuna, north of Stockholm. The work takes place during regular hours, with about three trips per year.

Is This You?

To be successful in this role, we see that you have at least five years of experience in machine design and knowledge in CAD (3D and Inventor). You have experience leading engineers and are driven to motivate and inspire others. Experience in electrical engineering is advantageous. Since the role involves many external and internal contacts, good communication skills in both Swedish and English are required.

You have a business-oriented and creative approach and enjoy working closely with our partners and customers to develop tailored solutions. As a person, you are responsible, positive, and flexible. Additionally, you possess strong social skills and thrive in both independent and team environments.
